HOTEL ENGINEERS FROM ACROSS AUSTRALIA TO CONVERGE ON THE GOLD COAST IN AUGUST

The event team at shac - headed by our very able Conference Director, Darren Harrison - are working hard on the 2009 Australian Institute of Hotel Engineering (AIHE) Update Conference that will be held on the Gold Coast in late August.

Founded in 1988, the AIHE aims to provide its members with the latest developments in engineering, construction and technology.

With a national membership base and chapters in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia, the Australian Institute of Hotel Engineering brings together a group that offers diverse experience and an extensive knowledge pool.

The Australian Institute of Hotel Engineering is built on the cornerstone of challenging and extending its members for continual improvements in the practices of hotel engineering.

Focusing on sustainability and innovation, the AIHE 2009 Update is a progressive forum providing expertise from some of the industry’s leading minds.

If you are interested in attending or exhibiting take a look at their website, built and designed by our very clever in-house team, at www.aiheupdate.com.au

In 2008, shac worked with the AIHE Committee to develop a 5-year strategic plan for the Institute that in addition to the Update will include the roll-out of a new quarterly magazine and the delivery of better membership services through online and web-based communications.
